His upbringing was surprisingly normal. There's no complaints. He loves his family very much, nothing of note that was troubling. He kept his head down and focused on raising Chocobos for farm life! Tailfeather is known for its hunters but he has no desire to partake in such a life even if he's capable.It was his parent's suggestion that he make his way to the outside world to explore and learn some new things instead of being isolated and only knowing home. He eventually pushes through his hesitation and starts venturing into the unknown.

Personality
Emrys is on the quiet side and doesn't approach people first unless he has questions or his curiosity gets the better of him. He's always willing to lend a helping hand when noticing someone's struggling or needing help. He rather immerse himself in his work than socialize, which has led him to a rather independent and isolated life despite being in a new environment for him where he knows no one. Being alone doesn't mean lonely. He's perfectly content with his lifestyle, and a bit resistant to change, relying on others to pull him from his own world.
